Job Summary

Performs duties and responsibilities related to all aspects of the full-cycle recruiting process, including: applicant screening, sourcing, testing, and maintenance of applicable documentation. Enhance the capability of the organization to attract and retain qualified, diverse talent.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Complete full-cycle recruitment process to fill vacancies including but not limited to:

  • Advising hiring supervisors on the recruitment process

  • Overseeing interview process

  • Sourcing and screening resumes

  • Leveraging applicable supply and demand statistics, market demographics, unemployment trends and competitive analysis to assist the organization in making sound hiring decisions

  • Developing a pool of qualified, diverse candidates proactively

  • Recommending applicants for interviews

  • Conducting applicant testing

  • Making recommendations regarding hiring decisions

  • Reviewing pre-employment physicals, drug testing and background results

  • Drafting, reviewing and executing internal and external advertising strategies

  • Attending career fairs and networking events

  • Compile, maintain and/or prepare documentation of employment activities such as job application information, interview questions, job descriptions for postings, employee documentation, offers of employment and correspondence.

  • Assist hiring leaders to prioritize position competencies and use of behavioral-based interviewing, as well as applicable applicant assessment tools.

  • Track, compile and prepare staffing and/or applicant data.

  • Provide advice and assist hiring leaders, employees, industry peers and others regarding staffing and recruiting processes, employee benefits, available employment alternatives and interpreting policies.

  • Coordinate college and technical school recruiting initiatives, including the Orientation Program for College Recruits and Intern Program (as specified by position).

  • Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.

  • Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

Associate’s Degree in Human Resources, other related field or an equivalent combination of formal education and the following job related experience:

  • Experience sourcing and screening applicant resumes, conducting employment interviews and analyzing applicant information; technical and/or high volume recruiting experience preferred.

  • Experience managing multiple priorities.

  • Knowledge of human resource policies and procedures applicable to position.

  • Experience interpreting and applying governmental regulations applicable to position.

  • Experience in the use and function of tools and equipment applicable to position including utilizing computers (Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint).

  • Application of math and algebraic formulas.

  • Experience and training related to:

  • Governmental regulations relative to equal employment, affirmative action and disability

  • Interviewing skills

  • Written communication skills

  • Interpersonal/communication skills

  • Experience compiling and preparing information and reports pertaining to employee data, interview questions, applicant statistics, health benefits, workplace accommodations, policies, procedures and correspondence.

  • Experience interacting, advising and communicating effectively.

  • Experience reading and interpreting manuals, reports, governmental regulations, training materials, job information, documentation, policies, procedures and correspondence.

  • Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.

  • Communicate and/or exchange written and verbal information or instructions; conduct oral presentations.

Certification and Licensing

  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Professional Recruiter Certification (PRC) preferred.

  • Applicable driver’s license.

Physical Requirements

  • Mobility to travel in and around office surroundings. Requires travel to offices and job sites throughout system.

  • Ability to operate office tools and equipment required.

Visual Requirements

  • Sufficient to perform job duties.
