Support in planning, monitoring and managing engineering projects from initiation through completion. Support project planning, resourcing, staffing, supply and subcontract management, progress reporting, troubleshooting, and people management. Ensure project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, constructability, schedule and cost. Support internal and external resources and communicate throughout the company as well as with external vendors, contractors and customers.
Scope of Duties and Responsibilities
Support project activities to include plant and process facility design, pipeline design, construction, operation and maintenance projects, measurement, regulation and control facilities, gas treating and compressor facilities, product storage, pumping, loading and handling facilities, SCADA, DCS and PLC control systems, processing equipment including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, compressors, pumps, coolers, etc.
Support project team by executing on the project vision, obtaining necessary resources to handle projects including the hiring of, contractors, vendors, and purchasing of necessary equipment through the established processes.
Manage material logistics and coordination for construction projects starting with material procurement for receiving and payment.
Support execution of engineering services, scope definition, estimating, construction strategies, scheduling, design, preparation of bid instructions and bidding, procurement, construction, record keeping, right-of-way, and environmental activities.
Support in development, implementation, and manage project plans which include cost estimates, contract strategies, engineering design, construction, quality assurance, commissioning and project closure to complete projects on-time and on-budget with satisfactory quality.
Support development and management of optimal project solutions that maximize the economic value added of the project over the life of the project within budgetary and resource constraints.
Evaluate projects and identify where change is needed. Seek opportunities for different and innovative approaches for project completion and communicate to the project leadership. Interact with direct and indirect reports, corporate personnel, public officials, contractors, customers, and civic organizations on issues including general construction activities, public projects and project scheduling.
Provide technical assistance to management, governmental and regulatory agencies, company attorneys and industry groups on matters related to projects and operations, policies, construction procedures, contracts, material selection, governmental/regulatory rules and regulations.
Responsible for the compiling of all construction related documentation and assuring completeness, accuracy and submission as per ONEOK’s documentation expectations.
Must show a consistent ability to meet project deadlines.
Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.

Bachelor's degree in engineering technology and/or an equivalent educational program related to Project Coordination. An individual without a formal Project Coordination education may also succeed in this role with the demonstration of capabilities with the following job related experiences:
Experience with and thorough knowledge of operations of processing facilities, pipeline and related facility design, construction, operation, and maintenance projects. Including but not limited to measurement, regulation, control facilities, gas conditioning, processing, compressor facilities, pressure vessels process equipment and controls and monitoring systems.
Experience with all phases of project management including scoping, estimating, specification, scheduling, contracting and procurement, construction, commissioning and startup, budgeting, financial analyses and regulatory compliance.
Experience with project management productivity tools and software.
Experience in coordinating teams from various workgroups, managing relationships with internal and external participants and eliciting cooperation from all resources.
Experience interacting, advising, negotiating, and communicating effectively.
Experience identifying, researching, evaluating, prioritizing problems and situations, providing appropriate actions, alternatives, and/or recommendations.
Experience developing information and making presentations to groups and individuals.
Experience researching, composing, preparing, administering contracts, engineering studies, policies, procedures, reports, and technical correspondence.
Experience reading and interpreting governmental regulations, codes, manuals, policies, procedures, contracts, specifications, and various reports and correspondence.
Application of math, algebraic formulas and statistical methods.
Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.
- Applicable driver's license required for travel to other offices and facilities and to job sites.
- Mobility to travel in and around plant and office facilities and around construction sites out of doors.
- Communicate and/or exchange information or instructions; conduct oral presentations written and verbal means.
- Sufficient to perform job duties.
